Dominic Buttimore
Executive Producer and CEO, Th1ng
Dominic Buttimore started work as a graphic designer in 1982. He worked his way through poster designs for the RSC and layouts for BAFTA before moving into directing and producing commercials.
In 1998 he joined the Board of MPC to head up the CGI Department creating VFX for Bond, Harry Potter and many commercials.
In 2003 he launched Th1ng ( Thing One ) : a creative production company exclusively representing a wide range of directing talent, producing work for film, TV, promotions and online. Based in Soho, London it has all its creative, production and post production services in house.
Th1ng recently created TV idents for NBC Universal and the titles for Sweeney Todd and The Golden Compass.
In 2008 Th1ng was commissioned by the London Development Authority to create the film “ London “ to promote the city in the run up to the Olympic games which was premiered at the Beijing Olympics.
