Philippe Carli

CEO of Siemens France

Philippe Carli was Development Engineer for the Aerospatiale (1985-1986), before joining Siemens AG (as product Manager) and Hewlett Packard SA (as Responsible for Large Accounts). He then moved on to Siemens France SA, where he held the subsequent positions of Head of the Telecom Instrumentation Department (1991-93), Head of the Industrial and Scientific Instrumentation Department (1993-95), Director of the Drives and low voltage Departments (1995-97), Director of the Industry Division (1997-99) and Director of the Automation and Drives Division (1999-2002). Since 2002, he has been CEO of Siemens SAS and CEO of Siemens Group in France. Since April 2008, he has also been in charge of the Energy sector for the South West European Countries as cluster sector CEO. He is also President of the French-German Trade and Industry Chamber and Vice-President of the French-German Economic Club.
Distinction: Knight of the Legion of Honour.
