Philippe Chalmin

Professor at the Paris Dauphine University

A graduate from HEC Business school, he holds a doctorate in Economic History from the Sorbonne University in Paris.
Philippe Chalmin is specialized in international commodity markets and is the General Editor of the United Nations Commodity Yearbook published by UNCTAD ("Rapport CyclOpe" in French). He is a columnist in some major French newspapers and appears regularly on radios and TV’s. He has done major researches on the dynamics of clusters in France and world wide. Today, he is Member of the Council of Economic Advisers (Office of the French Prime Minister), Chair Professor of Economic History at Paris-Dauphine University and Head of the Master of International Affairs since 1999 in the same University.
