François Escher

During his professional career, Francois held a number of senior management positions: Prior to Freescale Semiconductor he was Director for Strategy & Marketing with Motorola Semiconductor Europe (SPS) and General Manager of Motorola Switzerland; Director for Strategic Capabilities and New Business Development with AT&T International Operations; Director of Corporate Strategy, Alliances, and Organizational Capability Europe with Digital Equipment Corporation; Head of Socio-Economic Research and Consulting with Battelle Research Centers, Geneva, leading the business strategy and future prospective practice. Francois graduated in international relations, political science and economics at the University of Geneva IUHEI (MA). He also holds a degree in social sciences and cultural anthropology from the University of Neuchatel (BA).
