Shellie Karabell

Shellie Karabell has spent 40 years in broadcast journalism, specalizing in business-financial reporting since 1982. She has held senior correspondent and management positions in New York, Los Angeles, London, Moscow and Paris for Dow Jones Broadcasting, ABC News, various PBS shows (Newshour, European Journal, Nightly Business Report) and CNBC. She has interviewed presidents and industry leaders, revolutionaries and cabinet ministers, analysts and economists. Shellie spent 20 years in Europe covering most of the major listed companies as well as significant news events such as the demise of the Soviet Union, civil wars in Beirut and Yugoslavia, terrorist incidents, the introduciton of the Euro, and even fashion shows in Paris and Milan. She returned to the USA in January of 2004, established her own produciton company, Sunshine Media & Communications LLC, and produces a weekly business-financial-public affairs half-hour magazine TV show, “Desert Cities Business Report,” seen in Southern California on NBC affiliates and on Time Warner Cable.
