Richard Offermann
Director Service Industries, Germany Trade & Invest
Richard Offermann is the director of the Service Industry Division at Germany Trade & Invest. Mr. Offermann’s division is responsible for attracting foreign direct investment to Germany in the ICT, logistics, consumer goods, and business services sectors.
Mr. Offermann amassed considerable management consultancy project experience in the financial services and automotive sectors at Accenture (2001-2007) before moving to Germany Trade & Invest. He also obtained invaluable management experience during a one-year project (2000-2001) at a European internet startup company.
During his international business administration studies in Kiel, Germany, and Almería, Spain, he completed internships in the automotive industry and investment banking sectors in Stuttgart and New York respectively.
