Bakulesh Rupani, passed b.e.(civil) in 1978 from m.s.uni, baroda. Post graduation in planning from cept ahmedabad in 1987.
Having experience of 30 years in the field of town planning and city management.
Worked 20 years in rajkot urban development authority.
Major work: preparation & implementation of development plan. Preparation & implementation of t.p.schemes
Working as a town planning officer and head of town planning dept in rajkot municipal corporation since last 10 years. City management and overall control of development activities and planning for urban poor and innovative steps to implement some parameters of eco housing and green building by awareness programmes, by insisting for rain water harvesting, solar water heating systems, solar based lighting, and , now working out for easy solutions for recycling of water. Rajkot is selected as a solar city by govt of india.
