Jan Siemons
Partner at Ernst & Young
Jan is a partner with Ernst & Young and managing director of the Real Estate Advisory Services and is one of the leaders of the International Location Advisory Services. Jan Siemons is in charge of strategy consulting, corporate real estate management, real estate finance, international corporate relocation strategy, supply chain management, financial feasibility studies, and site selection studies. In addition, Jan advises many governments with regard to public-private partnerships, regional-economic policy, and city development. Jan has a broad international experience and has implemented many cross border projects for a wide range of companies, partly as program manager and in most cases as the responsible partner for the quality of Ernst & Young’s deliverables. In addition, Jan is a board member of some specialized Ernst & Young Groups, among which the “Real Estate, Hospitality and Construction Group”.
Jan received his PhD with a comparison between Japan and The Netherlands in the fields of economy, culture, technology, labour conditions and quality management. He has published many articles about the competitiveness of cities, cost reduction out of real estate, and foreign direct investment.
