Invest in France Agency (IFA) is responsible for promoting prospecting dans facilitating the international investment in France.
The IFA network operates worldwide, with offices in France both national and local level. It draws on the expertise of specialits specialists in a rancge of disciplines based at its head office in Paris, as well as in offices in North America, Euorpe and Asia.
In France, IFA works in partnership with regional development agencies to offer international investors outstanding business opportunities and customized services.

Mission statement
Promote France internationally and encourage inward investment
Identify international investment projects in Europe and in France in order to apply a promotion strategy to attract the international investors
Inform, advise and help investors - personally and free of charge - at each stage of their project
Organise state aid by coordinating financial incentives with regional agencies and local authorities for the investment projects.

The three largest investors are the USA (19.1% of the jobs created), Germany (14.8%) and Italy (11.3%)

David Appia, Ambassador for International investment.
David Appia was appointed Ambassador for Internationl investment and Chairman and CEO of Invest in France Agency on December, 10th 2008 by the French Council of Ministers.
He was previously and since 2009,Minister Counselor for Economic Affairs at the French Embassy in Washington D.C. Immediately prior to his posting in Washingtin, David Appia was Minister Counselor for Economic Affairs in Italy.
He had been posted previously in Washington (1988-1991) and in Egypt (1993-1997) as an Economic and Commercial Counselor at the French Embassy.
From 1997 to 2002, he served as Deputy Director of Multilateral Affairs at the Office of Economic and Commercial Affairs (DREE) at the ministry of Economy and Finance in Paris.
