Strategic partners
Siemens

A partner of this event since 2005, Siemens will be taking part in the 8th edition of the World Investment Conference (WIC) organised in La Baule France from 2 to 4 June 2010.
Inventing the healthcare of tomorrow, today
Predictions suggest that by 2025, the global population will be 8 billion. More than half of the world’s population already lives in urban areas, and this proportion could reach 65% by 2025. In 2015, 350 million people will live in what are known as megacities (cities with a population of over 10 million). How can we develop effective, patient-centered healthcare systems at an affordable cost? To answer these questions, Siemens has set itself the objective of becoming a pioneer in customized healthcare solutions, focusing on early diagnosis and treatment of diseases, improving chances of recovery and thereby reducing healthcare costs.
Siemens, a partner of sustainable towns and cities
What’s more, towns and cities currently produce 80% of the earth’s greenhouse gases. In its environmental portfolio, Siemens offers products and solutions that are capable of meeting the challenges of urbanization: mobility, safety, power supply, and water transportation and treatment. Reducing our clients’ carbon tax is the priority of our group, across the world.
